Position: Hotel Maintenance Worker / Maintenance Engineer
Pay: Starting at $17.00 per hour

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated Hotel Maintenance Worker to ensure our property is safe, functional, and welcoming for all guests. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of our facilities, helping create a flawless guest experience while keeping our hotel in top condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and manage maintenance programs to maintain a zero-defect environment for guests.
Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other equipment impacting guest experience.
Perform hotel room and building repairs, including ceiling tiles, filters, light bulbs, vinyl patching, painting, and fixtures such as toilets, sinks, kitchens, and laundry areas.
Develop and execute routine and preventative maintenance plans, coordinating with department managers.
Maintain the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of hotel grounds, exterior areas, pool, and fitness facilities.
Prepare and manage the engineering budget, monitoring expenses and making adjustments as needed.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards, working with inspectors and taking corrective action as necessary.
Keep mechanical, electrical, and structural blueprints up to date.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel, apartment, or similar maintenance.
HVAC certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing maintenance.
Experience using general maintenance tools.
Skilled in troubleshooting and performing repairs including painting, HVAC, and carpentry.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks involving pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and reaching.
Comfortable working in varying temperatures and with cleaning chemicals.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with guests and team members.
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
