Overview
Are you a young adult looking to break into digital media, podcast production, or project management? National CORE is offering a Digital Production Management Internship that will give you real-world experience in a full-cycle production studio — and it’s fully funded through a state grant!
This 10-week, paid internship averages 12 hours per week and is designed for motivated individuals interested in developing valuable digital production and media skills. Work alongside our Digital Project Manager and Assistant Vice President of Marketing & Communications in a state-of-the-art production environment.
What You’ll Learn
Throughout the internship, you’ll gain hands-on experience in:
Digital Production Fundamentals:
Pre-production, production, and post-production workflows
Podcast planning, scripting, and guest coordination
Content curation and basic storytelling techniques
Tools for video, audio, and editing
Intro to content distribution and performance analytics
Advanced Skills (based on experience):
End-to-end podcast episode and series production
Hosting and interviewing techniques
Social media and content marketing strategies
Advanced performance analytics
You'll also get a behind-the-scenes look at National CORE's community development work and its partnership with Hope Through Housing.
Schedule & Flexibility
Part-time: 12 hours/week for 10 weeks
Flexible scheduling to accommodate school or other jobs
Some dates (like onboarding and special events) are mandatory
Schedule determined in collaboration with your supervisor
Requirements
Must be eligible to work in California
Must pass a background check
Driving may be required for off-site meetings
Ability to operate basic office and digital production equipment
Moderate physical activity (walking, bending, lifting up to 20 lbs)
Eligibility & Funding
Funded by California EDD through March 31, 2027
Employment is contingent on available grant funding
Interns may reapply for a second round if eligible to pursue advanced skills
Compensation
$23.50–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience
