📍 Location: San Bernardino, CA (In-Person Only)
💵 Pay: $20.00–$25.00/hour
🕒 Schedule: Part-Time | 9–36 hours/week | Afternoons & Evenings

Valdez Educational Services is a family-owned company committed to uplifting under-resourced communities by offering academic support, mentorship, and advocacy for students in the San Bernardino City Unified School District. We’re passionate about building strong, sustainable relationships that help students thrive—especially English Learners, Low-Income, Foster Youth, and those with IEPs.

We are now hiring Tutors / Academic Mentors to provide one-on-one, after-school academic support to K–12 students across various locations in San Bernardino. If you're dependable, flexible, and want to make a lasting impact, we want to meet you!

Responsibilities include:

• Tutoring students in grades K–12 with engaging and creative academic strategies

• Providing one-on-one support at school sites, student homes, libraries, or community centers

• Mentoring and advocating for students’ academic and personal growth

• Documenting progress, challenges, and accomplishments

• Collaborating with families and staff to meet individual student needs

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children/youth (tutoring experience preferred)

• Reliable, self-motivated, and organized

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

• Reliable transportation

• DOJ/FBI background clearance

• Minimum commitment of 4–6 months
